This privacy policy includes brighthosting.io and all subdomains within.

Like many other Web sites, Bright Vessel LLC makes use of log files. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement around the site, and gather demographic information. IP addresses, and other such information are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.

All of the same information recorded in Log Files is also transmitted to Google Analytics. No personally identifying data is included in this type of reporting, except as described under “Advertising and measurement” below.

Bright Vessel LLC does use cookies to store information about visitors preferences, record user-specific information on which pages the user access or visit, customize Web page content based on visitors browser type or other information that the visitor sends via their browser.

If you wish to disable cookies, you may do so through your individual browser options. More detailed information about cookie management with specific web browsers can be found at the browsers’ respective websites.

We use Google Tag Manager to run advertising and measurement tags from Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads), Meta (Facebook), Reddit and X (Twitter). These tags use cookies and similar technologies to measure visits to this site and to show and measure our ads, including on other websites.

When you send a form on this site, the name and email address you entered are passed to Google and Meta with the conversion, so they can match it to the ad that brought you here. Your details are hashed (converted into an irreversible code) in your browser before they are sent.

You can limit ad personalization in your Google account (adssettings.google.com) and Meta account (facebook.com/adpreferences) settings, and block these cookies through your browser options.

With your analytics consent, we also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies. Some measurement data is sent first to a server operated by Bright Vessel (ss-do.brightvessel.com), which forwards it to Google Analytics and, only if you allow advertising, to Meta and Reddit through their conversion services. That server receives your IP address and browser information with each request.

Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the UK, Switzerland and California), we ask before using analytics or advertising cookies. Elsewhere in the US they are on by default, and you can turn them off at any time. Use “Cookie settings” or “Your Privacy Choices” at the bottom of any page to change your choice. Your choice is kept in a cookie on your device (bh-consent) for 12 months. We honor Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends it, we treat it as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising. When you turn a category off, we delete the cookies and stored data its tools left on your device, where your browser allows it, and reload the page so they stop.

To show that we respected your choice, we keep a record each time you make or change it: a random ID kept in your choice cookie, your choice, the banner version, the page and language, the time, and your country (and US state, for US visitors) as provided by our hosting provider, Cloudflare. We do not record your name, email or IP address. We keep these records for 25 months and then delete them.

Bright Vessel LLC only shares personal information with other companies or individuals outside of Bright Vessel LLC in the following limited circumstances:

• 1We have your consent. We require opt-in consent for the sharing of any sensitive personal information.
• 2We provide such information to our subsidiaries, affiliated companies or other trusted businesses or persons for the purpose of processing personal information on our behalf. We require that these parties agree to process such information based on our instructions and in compliance with this Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
• 3We have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, (b) enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations thereof, (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, or (d) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of Bright Vessel LLC, its users or the public as required or permitted by law.

If Bright Vessel LLC becomes involved in a merger, acquisition, or any form of sale of some or all of its assets, we will ensure the confidentiality of any personal information involved in such transactions and provide notice before personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include appropriate encryption and physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data.

We restrict access to personal information to Bright Vessel LLC employees, contractors and agents who need to know that information in order to process it on our behalf. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations.

Please note that this Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent. We will post any Privacy Policy changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice (including, for certain services, email notification of Privacy Policy changes).
